Mitsubishi offers control room video wall cubes for utility management and process control. Our control room video wall cubes are designed to be tiled in such a way that SCADA and EMS network topologies can be spanned across screens without any loss of information.
One of our key engineering focus areas was on the image quality provided by our control room video wall cubes. We found that in utilities and process control it is important to have a SCADA network transverse a screen with pixel–to–pixel accuracy. To do this we have incorporated proprietary design and manufacturing process control to ensure accurate and consistent displays.
To ensure different lines within a SCADA map are distinguished, we have incorporated our Digital Color Space Control Circuit and our proprietary 12–Bit Dither & Gamma Correction Circuit. These two image enhancing circuits ensure that color accuracy is met, allowing the operator to distinguish between red and orange lines.
Just as your company has a commitment and responsibility to ensure high reliability, so does Mitsubishi. The high reliability of our control room video wall cubes is achieved through extensive quality control measures and joint ventures with our key suppliers.
Our control room display wall line incorporates a number of models ranging from XGA to SXGA+ resolutions in both 50" and 67” screen sizes. For facilities with limited space or where a map board is being replaced, we offer a front access series of displays that enable all service through the front screen.
Benefits for this environment
The best protection from downtime is not through redundancy, but through reliability. Mitsubishi Data Wall cubes will prove to be highly reliable components of your control room system.
Mitsubishi’s high brightness and contrast ratios provide images that are clear, sharp and easy to read thus reducing eye strain and fatigue for the operators.
The most common cause of color differences between adjacent screens is brightness intensity differences. Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Brightness Balancing™ circuitry checks and matches adjacent cubes every 2 seconds to ensure proper intensity matching.
Mitsubishi utilizes a sophisticated color space management circuit that allows fine tuning of color space to meet stringent color settings. Because the system can be set to user defined target color spaces, the system can automatically adjust color space to compensate for newly introduced optical components.
Redundant lamps offer the ability to guarantee uptime due to lamp failures. Lamps change within 15 seconds, which includes automatic adjustment of color space and brightness intensity.
Mitsubishi’s 50” XGA rear access display is a mere 21” in depth. Our front access models allow the displays to be mounted directly against the wall with zero clearance. For smaller sites, our LCD panels can be wall–mounted.
