Overview Specifications Features & Benefits Accessories Resources

The 50” VS-50XHF70S Projection Cube solves configuration issues in your control room when space is limited. Completely serviceable through the front screen, you can install the XGA projection cubes directly against a back wall with zero clearance. Built-in features keep the display screen sharp, consistent, and easy for you to maintain for more than a decade of continuous operation.

Intelligent XGA Projection Cube Features

Smart Lamp technology ensures consistent, uniform image and twenty-four hours a day operation. The XGA projection cubes continuously communicate, making adjustments as needed with Color Space Control. The Smart Lamp detects fading near the end of lamp service life and automatically and switches to a second pre-heated lamp. The cube quickly adjusts to maintain consistent color and brilliance across the video wall.

Flexibility

Modular and easy for you to upgrade, XGA shares the same cabinet and screen with SXGA+ and both are powered by Texas Instruments DLP® technology. The cabinets, mirrors and screens remain in place and just the engine is replaced, eliminating long periods of down time during the upgrade. No additional construction is necessary.

Internal Processing

Internal data processing allows up to six windows per cube and windows can be moved and resized across the video wall. With such simplified image processing, you may not require an external image processor for your installation. Multiple windows can be moved freely throughout the video wall display. When used in combination with Mitsubishi D-Wall Software, you can control the entire image system from an intuitive graphical user interface.

Auto-balancing

Each display cube features three built-in primary color sensors and a dynamic color control and brightness balancing system for optimal blend and brilliance. The sensors continually monitor cube output, share data with adjacent units, and automatically adjust for accurate color balance and brightness across the entire system. Virtually no external action, sensors, or PC’s are required to maintain multi-screen uniformity.

Easy Set-Up

The Mitsubishi Auto-Geometry function provides simplified mechanical adjustments. Using a motorized fine-tuning device installed in each cube uses a camera and machine-vision software automatically align the image on screen. This enables automatic six-axis mechanical modifications as well as mirror and screen adjustments. Automatic color alteration is also available with Mitsubishi Wallaby Software.

Durability

We’ve doubled the service life of the color wheel system, fan pack, and other moving parts. That’s over 100,000 hours, or eleven years of continuous operation for your control room, almost twice as long as cubes from other manufacturers. The color wheel internally stores its own color characteristics. When the color wheel is replaced, this function automatically recalibrates the cube into perfect color balance consistent with the rest of your video wall.

Redundancy

The VS-50XHF70S Projection Cube delivers the signal redundancy you need for mission critical applications and continual operation. Should a signal be suddenly lost, within seconds the Smart Switch function automatically switches to an alternate signal source. You experience minimal downtime, which saves you time and money.
