Mitsubishi’s intelligent VS-50XL70S Projection Cube brings vivid clarity, flexibility, and easy-to-use functionality to your control room. Sophisticated, self-adjusting, and low-maintenance, the 50” VS-50XL70S Projection Cube incorporates the latest in advanced display cube technologies to give you a superior video wall experience. Full rear service access makes the display cube ideal when additional service space is available behind the video wall.

Smart XGA Projection Cube Features

Built for the rigors of mission critical applications and continual use, the XGA projection cubes work together automatically to ensure consistent operation and uniformity. Using Smart Lamp technology, the display cubes communicate and perform Color Space Control adjustments automatically. When a lamp is replaced the cube corrects itself for proper color and brilliance across the video wall. A digital gradation circuit distributes uniform brightness, keeping multi-screen configurations sharp and vibrant images edge to edge.

Fully Flexible and Upgradeable

Mitsubishi’s VS-50XL70S Projection Cube flexibility allows you to build a video wall to fit your particular needs. XGA cubes share common cabinets and screens with SXGA+ cubes, so you can easily upgrade at a later date by replacing just the engine instead of the entire display wall. Both models are powered by Texas Instruments’ reliable DLP® technology for crisp and clear images. With three optional input ports available, you can configure your XGA projection screens according to your specific requirements.

Built-in Processing

The VS-50XL70S Projection Cube’s internal data processing function allows up to six windows per cube and windows which can be stretched across the video wall, so you may not need an external image processor for your installation. Multiple windows can be moved freely and, when used with Mitsubishi D-Wall Software, you can control the entire imaging system intuitively from a user-friendly graphical user interface.

Auto-balancing

Self-adjusting functions maintain multi-screen image uniformity, without the need for external sensors, PC’s, or user intervention. Each cube uses three integrated color sensors and a dynamic color control and brightness balancing system to continually monitor output. Sharing this data among adjacent XGA projection cubes, the system automatically adjusts itself for accurate color balance and brightness over the entire display wall.

Easy Set-up

The Mitsubishi Auto-Geometry function provides simplified mechanical adjustments for easy installation. Each VS-50XL70S Projection Cube uses a fine-tuning device with a camera and machine-vision software to align the image on the screen automatically. Automatic color adjustment is also available using Mitsubishi Wallaby Software.

Durability

We’ve doubled the average service life of the color wheel system, fan pack and other moving parts, giving you over 100,000 hours of constant use. That’s more than eleven years of continuous operation, almost twice as long as display cubes made by other manufacturers. Throughout operation, each display cube color wheel internally stores its own color characteristics. When you replace a color wheel or a lamp, this built-in function automatically recalibrates the cube into perfect and consistent color balance with the rest of the video wall.

Redundancy

The Mitsubishi Smart Switch delivers the signal redundancy you need for mission critical applications and continuous, 24/7 operation. If a signal is unexpectedly lost, the display cube automatically switches to an alternative signal source within seconds. You experience minimal downtime while saving time and money.
