Rear access VS-67XH70S Projection Cube is the ideal solution when your control room has extra service space behind the display wall. The high resolution XGA projection cubes take continual use operations to a new level with built–in features that automatically self–adjust for a consistently superior imaging experience. The 67" VS-67XH70S Projection Cube delivers vibrant images, minimal and cost-effective maintenance, and twice the service life of other display cubes on the market.
Smart XGA Projection Cube Features
The Mitsubishi Smart Lamp technology installed in each display cube monitors output and performs Color Space Control adjustments automatically. Detecting when the lamp is near the end of its service life, the Smart Lamp function switches to the second lamp, avoiding downtime. The replacement lamp is then adjusted to match color and brilliance with the rest of the wall. A digital gradation circuit distributes uniform brightness, keeping multi-screen configurations sharp, vibrant images edge to edge.
FlexibilityShould you decide to upgrade to SXGA+ at a future date, the process is easy. XGA and SXGA+ share the same cabinets, mirrors and screens, and are both powered by Texas Instruments DLP® technology. You replace just the engine instead of the entire display wall, with minimal disruption to normal operations. Three optional input ports and thirty-eight possible configurations allow you to install cubes in virtually any space and meet any operational requirement.
Built-in ProcessingThe VS-67XH70S Projection Cube internal data processing function allows up to six windows per cube and windows can be stretched across the video wall, so you may not need an external image processor for your installation. Move multiple windows freely and, using Mitsubishi D-Wall Software, control the entire imaging system intuitively from a user-friendly graphical user interface.
Auto-balancingSelf-adjustment functions maintain image uniformity across the all of the screens in your video wall, without the need for external sensors, PC’s, or user intervention. Three color sensors and a dynamic color control and brightness balancing system built into each cube continually monitor output. The system shares data with adjacent XGA projection cubes and automatically adjusts the cube for accurate color balance and brightness over the entire display wall.
Easy Set-upMitsubishi Auto-Geometry simplifies mechanical adjusts for easy installation. Within each cube, a fine-tuning device with a camera and machine-vision software automatically aligns the screen image. Automatic color adjustment is also available with Mitsubishi Wallaby Software.
DurabilityMitsubishi XGA projection cubes now have double the average service life of display cubes made by other manufacturers. The color wheel system, fan pack, and other moving parts are rated at 100,000, over eleven years of continuous operation. Each display cube color wheel internally stores its own color characteristics. When you replace a color wheel, this built-in function automatically recalibrates the cube into perfect and consistent color balance with the rest of the video wall.
Signal RedundancyThe Smart Switch changes to an alternate signal source in seconds if a signal is unexpectedly lost, so you experience very little downtime. You save time and money and have the redundancy you need for mission critical operations.

Dynamic Brightness Balancing
Each Mitsubishi display wall cube is equipped with a built-in brightness sensor (brightness is measured every 2 seconds). The Dynamic Brightness Balancing™ circuit then communicates the measured brightness data between all cubes and automatically performs the necessary adjustments to maintain optimum brightness uniformity across the entire display wall.
Color Space Control
Mitsubishi developed the powerful Color Space Control feature, a digital color balancing and blending circuit that compensates for color and brightness differences among all of the cubes in a multi-unit configuration.
Smart Lamp
Mitsubishi's exclusive Smart Lamp™ Module in each display wall cube stores its own color characteristics. This data is the utilized when replacing the lamp in one or more cubes within the display wall. Upon replacement, the cube with the new lamp automatically communicates that lamp's data with all other cubes and performs the Color Space Control adjustment to rebalance the entire display wall, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
Smart Colorwheel
Mitsubishi's exclusive Smart Colorwheel™ Module in each display wall cube stores its own color characteristics. This data is then utilized when replacing the colorwheel in one or more cubes within the display wall. Upon replacement, the cube with the new colorwheel automatically communicates that colorwheel's data with all other cubes and performs the Color Space Control adjustment to rebalance the entire display wall, saving time and reducing maintenance costs.
12 Bit Dither & Gamma Circuit
Developed by Mitsubishi, the 12-bit Dither & Gamma Circuit enables the display of truly natural gradation (gray scale) by accurately rendering both bright and dark areas for precise half-tone images. This circuit also processes frame (time axis) direction to ensure smoother gradation and optimum color fidelity for all images.
Digital Gradation Circuit
Mitsubishi's proprietary Digital Gradation Circuit can elevate the brightness level at the edges of the screen–where brightness usually fades, in order to ensure the optimum brightness distribution and uniformity over multi-screen tiled configurations.
High Contrast Ratio
The combination of Mitsubishi's original high quality new optical system, super high-contrast screen and 12-degree DLP® chip (with dark metal coating), allow the Mitsubishi Display Wall Cubes to deliver an outstanding contrast ratio of 1600:1 (XGA models) or 1800:1 (SXGA+ models), and reproduce sharp, brilliant images with rich, vibrant colors.
