Each Mitsubishi Seventy Series display wall cubes offers two options for lamp operation. First, if the user presets the minimum operational brightness, the rear projection video wall cube automatically detects the drop in brightness of the operational lamp and starts pre–heating the spare lamp 10 minutes before the lamp swap. Once the operating lamp reaches the preset brightness, the video wall cube automatically switches to the new lamp. Secondly, the user can schedule the auto lamp switch so that the two lamps are used alternately. Both cases, the full brightness image from the new lamp appears in about 1 second with the fast rotating mirror.
